You can follow the example as shown to solve the above problem. 31-16, we can solve the units digits first which would be 1-6, which is not possible, so we borrow 1 from ten’s digit, which makes it 11-6 = 5. Now, the tens digit is 2-1 =1. So, the combined number now will be 15, which is the solution.
